We stayed for just a quick 2 nights, but the Sunset Inn is just what we needed it to be. It was clean, it was close to the beach (1 block, maybe 5 minutes from the front door to the waterside), and Charlie was great host. Each morning we had a great breakfast - much more than we expected, and each evening we enjoyed sitting on the porch or at the table in the back looking out on the marina. We loved South Haven so much that we do plan to come back again and stay for longer, and Charlie's cottage might be just what we need for that.

Love the Sunset Inn! Have stayed here twice now. It's in such an amazing location being short walk both to the beach and over the bridge into town. You don't have to drive anywhere if you plan to stick close to the main drag! Charlie is a welcoming host and always has cold water bottles avaliable to grab. Rooms are simple, the beds are comfortable, and there is a nice porch to sit on and enjoy watching people walk by. It's worth checking out!
